What drives Saint John prices

Saint John is home to the Irving Oil refinery, the largest in Canada. It also holds an Atlantic port that stays ice-free, and Hwy 1 has its terminus here. A refinery of that size and a deepwater port sit in the same city, and both anchor how the region moves fuel. Hwy 1 begins here, tying the port and the refinery to the rest of the province. Fuel moves out of this city and freight moves through it. Those are the facts that set this market apart.
